The Siklis trekking lies to the north-east of Pokhara that unfolds the natural beauty of Nepal. Siklis trekking is one of the most picturesque trek which is short but traverses through beautiful villages such as Siklis, the largest Gurung village that offers you traditional Gurung culture, life-style and unique handicrafts. Their cloth-weaving and water driven-grinding mill are two major magic's. The low altitude trek follows through the terrain of terraced fields with paddy and corns. The trek goes through abundant birdlife bamboo, rhododendron, oak, pine forests and high alpine meadows nestled below the great massifs Annapurna II and IV.
Siklis trekking stats from north east of Pokhara, it stretches towards Machhapuchhre peak upstream the Setikhola till Ghalegaon then acends up to Siklis at an altitude of 3000m which provides a great chance to have spectacular views of Annapurna range and Lamjung Himal (6931m). Before descending to the Begnas Lake, you can have panoramic view of twenty peaks including Mt Annapurna I (8,091m) and Mt. Manaslu (8,156m) from Thulo Khet camp. Eventually, last camp near Phewa lake reflects the magnificent shadow of Mt Machhapuchhre and you can have real sights as well the warm welcome and friendly treats of Gurung people is another special feature of Siklis trekking.

Itinerary of Siklis Trekking
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu, transfer to hotel
Day 02: Full day Sightseeing in Kathmandu and overnight at hotel
Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara
Day 04: Ghachok, 1 hour drive, 3-4 hours walk, easy day
Day 05: Ghalegang,5-6 hours, flat and then uphill
Day 06: Siklis,6 hours uphill, large Gurung village
Day 07: Rest Day,visit village, walk to viewpoint
