Royal TrekkingThe Royal trekking is also known as Annapurna Skyline Trek but named as “Royal Trek “ because Prince Charles of Britain trekked it at the fist time in 1980. Royal trekking is one of the short and best treks around Pokhara valley by camping and spending time even around Begnas Lake. Within short time, you can have spectacular views of mountains such as Machhapuchhre (fishtail 6,993m), Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Manaslu (8,156m) Annapurna (8,091m) and explore the rural life of Nepal. Royal trekking starts and ends at the same location tourists spot Pokhara that follows north- west route of Pokhara not higher than 1500m.Royal trekking takes four days duration but rewards with tremendous breathtaking views of terraced hill with colorful flora and fauna, eagles soaring high above and you can feel higher than royalty discovering yourself the natural height of being alive it is best winter trip for family and children.

Trekking Itinerary of Royal Trekking

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu, transfer to hotel
Day 02: Full day Sightseeing in Kathmandu and overnight at hotel
Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara
Day 04: (Pokhara) Bijaypur army camp just east of the Bijayapur Khola (Kalikasthan) 1770 m.
Day 05: (Kalikasthan) Thulokot- Mathi Thana- Naudanda School at Lipini Village (Shaklung) 1730m.
Day 06: (Shaklung / Royal Trek) Annapurna-11 Lamjung Himal – Manaslu- Himalchuly from Shaklung. (Chisapani) Danda
Day 07: (Chisapani) Stream that feeds- Rupatal- Begnastal to Pokhara 12km. 30 minutes drive to Pokhara.
Day 08: Pokhara back to Kathmandu
Day 09: Rest day
Day 10: Depart
