The starting point of the Circuit Trekking is the town of Beshishar which is also the district headquarters of Lamjung district. You will drive from Kathmandu to the town of Besisahar, enjoying the scenic drive along the Prithvi Highway enjoying the views of the hills, mountains along Trishuli River. The Circuit Trekking ends at Pokhara- the popular tourist city in Nepal that is crowded every year by the tourists for Nepal trekking. The popular pass which is the Thorong-La Pass (5,416 m)is one of the major highlights of the Annapurna Circuit Trekking. The Pass is located at an altitude of 5416 meters above the sea level and remains a challenge for the visiting tourists because of high altitude and physical exhaustion. The region of upperManang which happens to be the home of the Tibetan people of Buddhist origin, the holy Hindu temple of Muktinath, several monasteries and caves present in the region are some of the major highlights of the trekking. Also the popular town of Jomsom (2713m) where the foreigners spend a night or two is one of the high points of the trekking. After a day of resting in Jomsom, you can either take a flight to Pokhara or else drive to Beni from Jomsom in a local jeep. From Beni, you can return to the city of Pokhara, completing the Circuit trekking.
