The Ganesh Himal is one of the major groups of Himalayan peaks located between the Langtang and Manaslu ranges. It is named by “Ganesh Himal” after the elephant headed God of Good Fortune because the south faces of Pabil (Ganesh IV). Slightly resembles an elephant with a ridge that looks like an elephant’s trunk. The Ganesh range peaks (Ganesh I, II, III and IV) stand out like crystal that is the Great Himalayan chain, forming in the skyline. Ganesh Himal can be easily seen from Kathmandu. Ganesh Himal trekking has unique features such as the magnificent views of rare plants berbesis, primula, orchids, ferns, jasmine, oak, blue pine and rhododendron (in spring). The trek offers dense forests, glaciers, gorges, hot natural spas and unforgettable scenes. Through Shing La Pass(4,600m) you can take beautiful glacier of Langtang and Manaslu Massifs.
Ganesh Himal trek starts from Kathmandu with 5 hours drive that takes you at the trekking starting point, named Betrawati, through the Trishuli River. Through out upper hills, the trek takes 12 days trip. During the trip trekkers get acquainted by rick culture of Tamang community and their peculiarities. On the last day, you take a bus ride back to Kathmandu or Pokhara or Chitwan from Dhading Bensi where you spend the final day of your tip. The great massif Ganesh Himal is located between the valley of the Budhi Gandaki in the west and Bhote koshi in the east which is known Trishuli Khola at the lover section. This central eastern region of Nepal (Ganesh Himal) offers the trekkers with spectacular views of snowcapped massifs and rich wildlife, are main rewards of your great efforts.

Itinerary of Ganesh Himal Trekking
Day 01: Arrivals in Kathmandu check in at hotel (after rest we show you bit around and have a well come dinner
Day 02: City sightseening visit Buddhist and Hindus temples.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Betrawati 850m.
Day 04: Betrawati to Kispang 1850m
Day 05: Kispang to Thulo Chaur 2350m
Day 06: Thulo Chaur to Gonga 3000m.
Day 07: Gonga to Rupchet 3800m
Day 08: Rupchet - Shing La pass (aprx. height 4400.) or Sing La Top (aprx. height 4600m– Cherma 2900m.
Day 09: Cherma to Meyghang 2300m
Day 10: Meyghang to Sally 1900m
Day 11: Meyghang to Katunje 1800m.
Day 12: Jyamrung stay local house, teaching in school, working with local people as their daily activity, fishing, swimming as you like.
Day 13: Jyamrung to Jyamrung Durbar (Old king palace) 1800m.
Day 14: Jyamrung Durbar to Golabhanjyang (1 hrs walk) to Kathmandu.
Day 15: Rest, Shopping day in Kathmandu
